Thrive Pet Healthcare, located in Hoffman Estates, is seeking a Medical Director to lead both Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital and Fountain View Animal Hospital. This is a key leadership role that involves mentoring veterinarians, enhancing patient outcomes, and supporting staff development.

Veterinarian, Medical Director – Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital / Forest View Animal Hospital.

You will provide direct clinical leadership, mentor staff, and lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes and team culture.

Experience & Skills Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) or equivalent degree required.
• State Veterinary Board Licence in good standing for the state in which the position is located prior to start date.
• Active DEA licence or eligibility for DEA licensure.

About the Hospital

Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital is a small animal practice in South Barrington, Illinois, focused on wellness, preventative care and advanced diagnostics. We are AAHA accredited and offer digital radiography, dentistry, surgery, laser therapy and ultrasound services.

Fountain View Animal Hospital is a growing team that provides a hands‑on leadership environment. It offers opportunities for a Medical Director to directly influence team development, culture and clinical consistency.

Operating hours: Monday‑Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and mentor veterinarians across both hospitals toward medical excellence and enhanced patient outcomes.

• Utilize leadership training resources and mentorship programs to grow leadership skills.
