Qualifications

• Degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven ability to write clear, concise news copy.
• Experience producing for broadcast and digital platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and produce engaging newscasts and streaming content
• Write, edit, and organize stories for newscasts
• Pitch original story ideas and contribute to editorial decisions
• Monitor scanners, phones, social, and digital sources for breaking news
• Collaborate with anchors, MMJs, and newsroom staff daily
