Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Required 2 years minimum experience in diagnostic imaging & CT. Preferred experience in emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams in both modalities. Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision. Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment. Must be familiar with age specific criteria.
Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) & South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA). Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
