Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a FT Multimodality Radiologic Tech for MUSC Health Florence Emergency and Urgent Care. Night shift 7p–7a, 40 hours weekly, hourly pay.

Responsibilities include performing MRI/CT/X-ray procedures with adherence to ACR/ARRT and state regulations, under Radiology leadership. Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, 1 year radiologic experience, ARRT registration and SC license, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• One year of radiologic experience.
• ARRT registration and SC Radiation Quality Standards Association license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• CT experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job CT training available.

Responsibilities

• The CT/X-ray Multimodality Technologist performs radiology/CT procedures per standards.
• Operates radiology equipment and ensures patient care for all demographics.
• Exhibits expertise in ARRT technologist duties and CT responsibilities.

Job Description

The CT/X-ray Multimodality Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director/Supervisor, performs all Radiology/CT procedures in accordance with ACR, ARRT, state regulations, and departmental policies. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for the above-mentioned examinations. Is able to perform the duties of an ARRT Technologist as required in addition to performing CT duties. The Technologist must exhibit expertise in patient care based on needs appropriate for all patient demographics. Other duties as deemed necessary.

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

• One year of radiologic experience.

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

• CT Experience is preferred but not required. On the Job training to learn CT available
