Health Images is adding a full-time MRI/CT/XR Technologist to our Cherry Creek team!

Position Pay Range: $40.00 - $51.57 | Monday-Friday, 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm

$10,000 sign-on bonus available to eligible hires.

Summary/Objective:
The Multi-Modality Technologist performs MRI procedures, CT and X-Ray examinations according to protocol and age-specific needs, including patient preparation. Positions patient and performs scans using proper technical factors, maintains and monitors patient environment, adheres to safety procedures, and contributes to the security and maintenance of the unit.

Essential Functions:

1. Interfaces with patients to ascertain medical history and provides instructions/explanation of the procedure/exam to obtain the best possible image.
2. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent.
3. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
4. Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high-quality scans for radiologist interpretation.
5. Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during, and after the exam, notifying the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes.
6. Transfers images to other locations as needed.
7. Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
8. Maintains and inspects equipment regularly, reporting any concerns or failures.
9. Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding departmental concerns.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervision responsibilities.

Work Environment: Outpatient clinical environment with potential exposure to radiation, bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, and other conditions. May require work in cool, dimly lit rooms.

Physical Demands: May exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly. Requires use of hands and fingers, reaching, talking, hearing, and close vision.

Travel: No travel expected.

Job Qualifications:

• Two+ years’ experience in MRI (preferred), CT (preferred), and X-Ray (preferred)
• Ability to educate patients on procedures
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, team player
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

Education/Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current ARRT or ARMRIT certification in MRI
• Registry in CT and Radiography
• Current state license (if applicable)
• Current CPR certification

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: None required.
