Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo seeks a Tech - Multi Modality to perform MRI, CT, routine radiography and angiography. The role requires proficiency in radiography and adherence to safety, radiation protection, infection control, and patient comfort standards.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited radiology program, hold ARRT certification, Texas radiology license, and current BLS certification. UHS subsidiaries offer strong career development and benefits.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
• Maintains Current: American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT).
• State of Texas General Radiology License (Texas Medical Board).
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• The Tech - Multi Modality will comply with approved standards in patient safety, radiation protection, infection control and environment control. Provide an environment conducive to safety and comfort of patients, staff and visitors. Utilizes the appropriate leadership skills in supervising students and providing feedback concerning their performance. Has the ability to train fellow technologists in their particular modality. Has communication and problem resolution skills and is a professional role model.

Position: Tech - Multi Modality

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs a variety of technical procedures which may include: M.R.I., CAT Scan, Routine Radiography and Angiography. The Tech - Multi Modality should be proficient in two areas, including Radiography.
