Job summary

Beacon Health Options is seeking a Radiology Technician for a part-time day shift (Mon 7:30a-5p, Tue & Wed 8a-8p) to perform imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department policies.

The role involves ensuring patient safety, maintaining image quality, and managing patient flow. ARRT certification with active state license and CPR/BCLS are required, with prior radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or professional training in radiologic technology.
• ARRT certification (or ARRT eligible) and state license required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures per physician orders and department policies.
• Evaluate image quality and adjust as needed for accurate diagnosis.
• Explain imaging steps to patients and ensure safety.
• Load and set technical factors for imaging and contrast as needed.
• Assist with patient flow and schedule management.
