Qualifications

• Education credentials meet the program requirements for Radiologic Technology.
• 1+ year experience in first radiology modality with second modality orientation preferred.
• Proficiency with imaging systems and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Active work across more than one imaging modality with diverse procedures.
• Follow ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely guidelines for patient safety.
• Produce radiological procedures while maintaining high patient care standards.
• Provide age-specific care from neonates to geriatrics.
• Perform equipment quality control as applicable.
• Record database and RIS billing codes accurately.
• Maintain licensure and ongoing education requirements.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal agencies; support inspections.
• Instruct students and new staff after one year of experience.
• Work independently while contributing to department operations.
