Job summary

Bayou Bend Health System is seeking a part-time Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging across modalities in a rural Critical Access Hospital setting. You will perform radiography and CT imaging per physician orders, ensuring patient safety and precise image capture for radiologist interpretation.

You will verify patient details, work with PACS/EMR, and participate in on-call coverage while maintaining ALARA standards and compassionate patient care across

Qualifications

• Graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• Current Louisiana LSRT license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures per orders and protocols.
• Operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently.
• Produce high-quality images following ALARA principles.
• Verify patient identity and exam details before imaging.
• Document exam data in EMR and PACS accurately.
• Provide compassionate patient care and maintain privacy and dignity.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, and preparation for imaging exams.
• Maintain modular imaging rooms and equipment cleanliness.
• Adhere to infection control and safety policies.
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education.
• Provide on-call coverage as required.
