Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invites applications for a Multi-modality Technologist at Kiawah Partners Pavilion ER. This role performs diagnostic imaging across X-ray and CT, delivering high-quality exams and patient-centered care in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

The ideal candidate has graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, 2+ years in diagnostic imaging and CT, ARRT and SCRQSA registration, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Required 2 years minimum experience in diagnostic imaging & CT.
• Preferred experience in emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams in both modalities.
• Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision.
• Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be familiar with age specific criteria.

Responsibilities

• Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient carewithin X-ray and CT.
• Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed.
• Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner.
