Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Multi-Modalilty Technologist to perform imaging procedures across modalities under supervision by the modality supervisory technologist and modality medical director.

The role includes meeting technical competency, maintaining strong staff relationships, and participating in education and quality initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to use computers and perform analytical and decision-making functions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English; communicate clearly with patients and staff.
• Demonstrates understanding of hospital and departmental policies and procedures, including safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Performs all technical procedures within their modality sections as described in the Radiology Policy Manual.
• Meets the technical competency requirements for the position.
• Maintains an effective working relationship with all staff.
• Participates in professional education programs, patient/staff safety initiatives, and quality assurance/improvement activities.
• Adheres to established policies and procedures and maintains communication with leadership regarding patient care delivery.
