Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
• Basic computer skills and excellent customer service.
• BLS required.
• Active registries/certifications: Radiography (R) ARRt, Nuclear Medicine (N) ARRt or NMTCB, Sonography (S) ARRt or ARDMS.
• State licensure required by modality: TX MRT by TMB; LA LRT (R/N/F) by LSRTBE; NM/CT/FUS/MRT/VS etc. by MIRTP NMED (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Operates in two or more modalities with independent judgment.
• Rotates within departments to cover assigned areas.
• Coordinates procedures with patients and care providers.
• Ensures rooms are clean, stocked and compliant with infection control.
• Codes charges accurately in the billing system.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and professional communication.
