Job summary

CHRISTUS Children's is seeking a Multi-Modality Technologist to operate two or more imaging modalities and provide high-quality patient care in the Imaging Department. This role involves independent judgment, rotating across departments as needed, and ensuring accurate data handling in PACS.

The ideal candidate has radiology tech training, at least one year of medical setting experience, and BLS certification, with strong customer service and communication skills to support diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical setting required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic procedures across two or more imaging modalities.
• Operates state-of-the-art imaging equipment.
• Rotates within departments for proper coverage.
• Communicates effectively with patients and care providers.
• Ensures data is stored in PACS and charges are correctly coded.
• Adheres to infection control and confidentiality standards.
• Maintains patient care quality and continuity throughout procedures.
