Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist to perform DR plain film X-ray and operate MR, CT, ULS, CI, and VI as needed across University Hospital, East Hospital, The James Cancer Hospital and ambulatory imaging sites.

You will educate patients and contribute to quality assessment within Imaging Services, under the Imaging Manager/Associate Director, with shifts across imaging sites.

Qualifications

• Current Radiography license is required (ARRT R).
• ODH radiography licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in at least 2 advanced modalities or current advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform DR plain film x-ray.
• Operate one or more modalities such as MR, ULS, CT, CI, VI as assigned.
• Provide patient education and participate in quality assessment activities.
• Support Imaging Services across multiple locations.

The Multi-modality position applies in all locations where Imaging Services are provided: University Hospital, East Hospital, The James Cancer Hospital and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations.

Position Summary The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist will be required to perform DR plain film x-ray and two or all of the following modalities: MR, ULS, CT, CI, VI. Technologists will be required to provide patient education and quality assessment activities for the Imaging Division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager and/or Associate Director. This position may include the same activities at any of our Imaging Sites.

Minimum Qualifications For Hire:

• Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required.
• Current Radiography ODH licensure required.
• Minimum of one year experience in at least 2 advanced modalities (ULS, CT, MR, CI, VI) or current advanced certifications (ULS, CT, MR, CI, VI) required.
