Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Multi Modality Imaging Technologist to cover rotating shifts and PTO, performing CT and Radiography. This role supports the department with flexible scheduling and collaboration in a patient-centered team.

The Technologist will perform a variety of exams, maintain high image quality, and may support med tech duties as needed. A Radiologic Technology program graduate with ARRT license and Ohio license is required or registry-eligible, with CT registry

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registration or registry-eligible; Ohio license required; CT registry preferred.
• 2+ years of imaging experience preferred.
• Good communication skills; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Mount Carmel is seeking a Multi Technologist doing both CT / Radiographer Tech to help cover open shifts and PTO coverage. This position offers competitive pay rates, scheduling flexibility, and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative, patient-focused team.

Position Purpose

Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist performs a variety of exams in multiple modalities consistent with optimal image quality to support areas of greatest need by way of additional competencies and/or certifications. This will support CT/ Radiology as well as med tech duties as needed to support the department(s) workflow.

What You Will Do

• Performs a variety of CT / XRay procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
• Performs diagnostic x-ray exams with consistent and optimal image quality.
• Performs a variety of exams and is experienced in at least one modality with minor experience in another or willing to be trained based on licensure.
• Assists with Medical staff duties as possible to maintain workflow through the departments

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma Required. Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• License / Certification: Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible. Valid State of Ohio Radiological License required. CT registry preferred.
• Experience: 2 or more years in imaging preferred
• Effective Communication Skills
• Current CPR certification required.
• Able to perform professional duties with minimal supervision.
