UF Health in Jacksonville seeks a Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist credentialed to perform in at least two modalities (MRI, CT, diagnostic ultrasound, interventional, Mammography or Nuclear Medicine). You will support additional modalities, provide on-call coverage, and deliver patient-centered care.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited radiology program, BLS certification, and licensure in at least two modalities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline.
• Preferred Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Requires BLS certification and licensure in two radiology modalities.

Overview

The Multi-Modality Technologist is credentialled to perform at a minimum of two (2) MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Mammography or Nuclear Medicine procedures. This position must support the second or additional modalities on a routine basis by being available to work in the modality and must be able to provide on call coverage for these modalities. Strives to provide patient centered care. Upholds the standard of practice of a registered technologist.

Age of Patients Served:All Age Groups.Required Education:REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GEDSpecific course work: Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline.Preferred Education:Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.Necessary Skills:

• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices.


• Communicates exams/procedures to patients.


• Knowledge computer software and ability to trouble shoot.


• Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment.


• Maintain competency in a minimus of two modalities.

Required Licensure/Certifications:BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red CrossCredentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS.Required Experience:1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience.
