A family-owned quarry business in DeWitt, Iowa seeks a dedicated individual for a utility role that involves operating heavy equipment and performing maintenance duties. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or GED. This full-time position requires travel and offers a typical workweek of approximately 50 hours. Job description

The utility role consists of a flexible and adaptable individual as they will perform a variety of job duties. Such duties may include working across multiple site locations, performing various roles, and operating different pieces of heavy equipment based on business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with supervisor to ensure assignments of locations and/or duties for the week are understood.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and repairs and record maintenance performed.
• Work safely with adherence to Wendling Quarries safety policy.
• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of heavy equipment to perform a variety of tasks.
