Job summary

Public Storage is seeking Property Managers to work across multiple locations, assessing customer storage needs and making suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies. Daily inspections ensure spaces are ready to rent and cash handling is part of daily duties.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle to travel between properties; lifts up to 35 pounds and outdoor duties are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented sales experience from retail, restaurant or service industry.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and upsell packing/moving supplies.
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to ensure inventory and availability.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily tasks.
• Assist customers with account payments and make reminder/collection calls when required.
