Job summary

Firetrol Protection Systems, Inc. in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Multi Licensed Inspector to join our team, conducting inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire protection systems in commercial, educational, and healthcare facilities.

The role requires at least 5 years of experience, Texas RME-I and Backflow licenses, strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service. Ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in inspection or service of fire protection systems.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Required Certifications: Texas RME-I License; Texas Backflow License.
• Preferred Certifications: Texas FAL License; Texas FEL-A License.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections according to industry standards and regulations for fire protection systems including sprinklers and alarms.
• Diagnose issues requiring service and provide effective troubleshooting.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports that outline findings and recommendations for repairs.
• Engage with clients, maintaining excellent customer service relationships.
• Work in various environments such as commercial buildings, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and licensing requirements.
