Job Description: Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor Sr (F-35 Forward Fuselage)

This role offers a leadership opportunity for individuals who enjoy guiding others to success. You will be expected to be visionary, innovative, strategic, and passionate about developing your team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead manufacturing activities and represented workforce to accomplish cost, schedule, and quality goals for F-35 Forward Fuselage.
  2. Assign daily tasks and guide implementation.
  3. Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of aircraft records.
  4. Implement build plans.
  5. Identify and implement changes to improve quality, schedule, and cost.
  6. Reinforce a culture that values and embraces Foreign Object Damage prevention.
  7. Ensure certification of employees who perform certification-required tasks.
  8. Provide a safe work environment and take timely corrective action to correct unsafe conditions.
  9. Ensure employees and leadership comply with defined core processes and program-specific processes.
  10. Proactively encourage continuous improvement and development of technical competencies, talent, and performance.
  11. Identify and lead the incorporation of continuous improvement actions into manufacturing processes. Identify gaps in skill sets.
  12. Collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience leading in an Aerospace Manufacturing &/or Aircraft Maintenance Environment.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts and cost reduction with understanding of business metrics to drive performance.
  • Knowledge of machining centers &/or machining practices.

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and operate efficiently in a demanding environment.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms.
  • Familiarity with QADS, SFM, PDM, VAS, JDL, ALIS, JTD.
  • Strong background in business metrics, specifically cost and schedule management.
  • Experience managing in a Union environment.

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Schedule: Standard Monday to Friday 40-hour work week

This position is onsite full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
