Job summary

Rivetus Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our multi-site team in the Southfield, MI area. This role covers several Rivetus facilities within a local territory and offers flexible scheduling designed to keep you close to home while delivering high-quality rehabilitation care.

As a PTA, you will implement treatment plans, guide exercises, and collaborate with therapists across locations.

Qualifications

• Must have finished an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current PTA licensure as required by Michigan.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment across multiple Rivetus facilities within your local territory.
• Implement treatment plans created by supervising Physical Therapist.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, mobility training and functional activities within PTA scope.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate changes to supervising PT.
• Maintain accurate documentation per regulatory and reimbursement requirements.
• Collaborate with patients, families, nursing and therapy staff to ensure quality care.

Multi-Facility Physical Therapy Assistant:

Rivetus is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who enjoys variety, flexibility, and working across multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation locations.

This position provides multi-site coverage within a local territory, keeping you close to home while giving you the opportunity to work with different patients, therapy teams, and clinical environments. Your assigned facilities will be based on your location and preferred schedule, providing variety without the need for long-distance travel.

*Assignments are provided at least 24-48 hours in advance, with scheduling designed to provide consistency and flexibility.

Main Facility: 19933 West 13 Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48076
Schedule: Full Time - Flexible scheduling available

Pay : $33-$35/hour

Role Summary:

• Provide physical therapy treatment across multiple Rivetus facilities within your assigned local territory.
• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, functional activities, strengthening, mobility training, and other interventions within the PTA's scope of practice.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate changes or progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company regulatory and reimbursement requirements.
• Collaborate with patients, families, nursing, therapy, and facility staff to support quality patient care.
• Adapt to different facility environments while maintaining consistent clinical care.
• Participate in continuing education, in-service programs, company meetings, and other activities as directed.
• Follow company policies, procedures, professional standards, and current clinical practice guidelines.
