Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of payroll processing experience required.
  • Experience with multi-entity or multi-state payroll preferred.
  • Paycom or similar payroll/HRIS system experience required or strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of payroll administration, deductions, and compliance.
  • Finance, HR, or business-related education preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

  • Process and review payroll for five company entities, including overtime, bonuses, adjustments, and reimbursements.
  • Maintain employee payroll records and process new hires, terminations, and compensation changes.
  • Administer benefits deductions, 401(k) contributions, garnishments, and other required deductions.
  • Review timekeeping records and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Coordinate payroll taxes, reporting, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and maintain confidential records.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable payroll laws and regulations.
