Job description

Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Multi-Domain Cyber Engineer to support our Huntsville, ALlocation.

PeopleTec is seeking an experienced Multi-Domain Cyber Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and mature advanced cyber capabilities supporting the Department of War (DoW), Intelligence Community (IC), and Operational Test (OT) community. This hands-on engineering role spans RF-enabled cyber, cyber-electromagnetic activities (CEMA), embedded systems, and emerging threat domains. The successful candidate will apply deep technical expertise to translate mission needs and threat information into practical architectures, prototypes, test capabilities, and operational solutions.

The Multi-Domain Cyber Engineer will help define product strategy, technical roadmaps, and capability priorities while remaining directly involved in engineering, experimentation, integration, and test. Working with government stakeholders, program managers, engineers, intelligence analysts, and business development personnel, the individual will identify technical gaps, evaluate emerging technologies, develop product concepts, and advance capabilities from early research through demonstration and operational transition.

Duties:

  • Design, develop, integrate, and RF-enabled Cyber, C/EW capabilities supporting DoW and Intelligence Community missions.
  • Translate mission needs, operational requirements, and threat intelligence into product concepts, system requirements, technical architectures, and executable development plans.
  • Develop and mature technical capabilities from concept and proof of concept through prototype, demonstration, validation, and operational transition.
  • Define product strategy, technical roadmaps, and capability priorities for multi-domain cyber solutions spanning cyber, RF, OT/ICS, embedded systems, and CEMA.
  • Perform hands-on technical work in cyber research, software and hardware integration, threat emulation, system configuration, troubleshooting, and capability evaluation.
  • Plan, support, and participate in operational test events, cyber exercises, demonstrations, experiments, and technology evaluations.
  • Collaborate directly with government customers, mission partners, and end users to identify technical gaps and develop mission-relevant solutions.
  • Develop system architectures, interfaces, integration approaches, and technology-selection recommendations for complex cyber products and test environments.
  • Research emerging cyber threats, adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures, and evolving technologies to inform product development and technical strategy.
  • Design representative test environments and develop methods to assess cyber effects across enterprise, operational, RF-enabled, and cyber-physical systems.
  • Analyze test and demonstration results, identify technical deficiencies, and refine product requirements, designs, and implementation approaches.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies, and integration challenges and develop practical mitigation approaches throughout product development.
  • Produce technical documentation, architecture descriptions, test plans, white papers, product roadmaps, and proposal content.
  • Present technical concepts, product strategies, research findings, and capability results to government customers and technical audiences.
  • Evaluate emerging tools, platforms, and engineering methods that can improve product performance, adaptability, interoperability, and mission utility.
Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience supporting Department of War or Intelligence Community cyber programs.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience engineering, integrating, testing, or evaluating complex cyber capabilities, products, or systems.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting end-to-end research and development for emerging threat prototypes, from initial threat analysis and concept development through design, integration, testing, validation, demonstration, and operational transition.
  • Experience developing technical capabilities from initial concept through prototype, demonstration, validation, and operational use.
  • Strong technical background in either RF/EW and/or Offensive Cyber Operations
  • Experience supporting Operational Test and Evaluation, developmental testing, cyber assessments, cyber exercises, or representative cyber test environments.
  • Experience developing product strategies, technical roadmaps, architectures, requirements, or implementation plans for cyber capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of cyber operations across multiple domains, including enterprise IT, Operational Technology, Industrial Control Systems, RF-enabled systems, embedded systems, and CEMA.
  • Experience conducting research and development involving emerging cyber technologies, adversary capabilities, advanced threat emulation, or cyber-physical systems.
  • Ability to translate operational requirements and threat information into technical designs, prototypes, test cases, and system architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate software, hardware, networks, sensors, radios, or other mission systems within laboratory and operational environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical material to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience contributing technical content to proposals, white papers, customer briefings, product plans, or research reports.
  • Ability to travel in support of customer meetings, demonstrations, integration activities, and operational test events.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required upon hire; Top Secret/SCI preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Master's degree preferred).

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting the Operational Test community, including DOT&E, TRMC, Service Operational Test Agencies, or equivalent organizations.
  • Experience with cyber threat emulation, red team operations, adversary TTP development, vulnerability research, or exploit development.
  • Hands-on experience with OT/ICS, RF-enabled cyber, software-defined radios, wireless protocols, embedded systems, or cyber-physical systems.
  • Experience integrating threat intelligence and validated adversary behavior into cyber testing, product development, or capability evaluation.
