Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc seeks a General Warehouse Associate to support multiple distribution center departments and operate material handling equipment. The role includes picking, packing, shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory tasks.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and 2–5 years of related experience, with safety-conscious work habits and reliability for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
• Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to locate and deliver products to designated areas.
• Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Use packing lists to collect items for customer orders and build/ wrap pallets.
• Inspect stock items for wear and defects and notify management of issues.
• Return misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment per company policies.
• Perform inventory control functions as needed.
