Job summary

The Save Mart Companies in Manteca, CA is seeking a Multi-Purpose Clerk in the Bakery/Deli area. You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products, assist customers, and take special orders for cakes and trays.

Responsibilities

• Center Store/Front End – operate the checkstand per policy, memorize PLU codes, stock and rotate products, and perform POS/inventory activities.
• Produce – inspect, log products, trim/wash/wrap produce, stock and merchandise for freshness.
• Meat/Seafood – inspect/log products, weigh/wrap, stock and merchandise, assist customers at the counter, take special orders.
• Bakery/Deli – inspect/log products, weigh/package/label for display, stock/rotate merchandise, take special orders, operate ovens/mixers.
• Janitorial – clean store areas, operate janitorial equipment as needed.
• Pharmacy – operate register and assist customers with prescriptions (where applicable).
• Duties Included in all departments – sweep/mop, may operate forklift or baler, perform other duties.
