Job summary

Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Multi Craft Technician to support pipeline and terminal operations in the Milwaukee area. You will install, test, and repair equipment for refined products pipelines, and maintain instrumentation and mechanical rotating equipment.

The role may require relocation to Madison or Milwaukee; company relocation assistance may be considered. We offer a flexible 9/80 schedule, a company work truck, tools, PPE, and benefits including 401K contributions, tuition

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial and electronic equipment such as motors, valves, meters, transmitters and pumps.
• Ability to read electrical and P&ID drawings and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Must be willing to participate in on-call duties.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Make sound economic decisions and drive incident prevention and predictable execution.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Develop relationships with customers and promote safety culture.
• Travel up to 20% and be available for on-call nights, weekends, holidays.
• Support maintenance of instrumentation, electronics and mechanical rotating equipment.
