Job summary

VYBOND SPECIALTY ADHESIVES LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and process equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production assets, install and modify electrical/control systems, and collaborate with teams on upgrades.

Strong reading/writing skills and safety compliance are essential. The role requires an associates degree or 3+ years in industrial maintenance, with preference for manufacturing

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or 3+ years in industrial maintenance.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent attendance required.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Ability to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues (electrical, mechanical, and process).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and support equipment.
• Install, repair, modify, and maintain electrical/control systems and motors.
• Assist in construction, installation, and startup of new or modified equipment.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical docs.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders per company requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production on major repairs and improvements.
• Fabricate, replace parts, and make mechanical adjustments as needed.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure GMP, safety, environment, and policies compliance.
• Move materials, parts, and equipment as needed to support maintenance.
• Perform other duties to support operations.

Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical, mechanical, and process related equipment issues.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and support equipment.Install, repair, modify, and maintain electrical systems, control systems, motors, PLCs, and mechanical components.Assist in or lead the construction, installation, and startup of new or modified equipment.Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation in accordance with company requirements.Collaborate with maintenance and production personnel on major repairs, projects, and continuous improvement efforts.Perform fabrication, part replacement, and mechanical adjustments as required.Conduct equipment safety inspections and ensure compliance with GMP, safety, environmental, and company policies.Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.Move materials, parts, and equipment as necessary to support maintenance activities.Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.Other Responsibilities:1.
