Job summary

Sylvamo Corporation, Eastover, SC mill, is hiring an Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Associate. The role supports journeyman EIs in routine maintenance and may operate independently on various electrical and instrumentation tasks.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and either one year of related maintenance experience or one year of vocational/technical education in electrical/instrumentation/HVAC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Able to function in a team environment.
• One year experience in Electrical, Instrumentation or HVAC maintenance or one year of related technical education.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman-level EIs in routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and perform repairs.
• Work on PLCs, drives, instrumentation, valves and HVAC tasks as needed.
