Job summary

Simmons is seeking a Cloud Administrator to manage and optimize a multi-cloud environment across AWS, Azure, and Oracle Integration Cloud. The role focuses on reducing vendor lock-in, implementing consistent security policies, regulatory compliance, and monitoring performance to ensure reliability.

You will deploy and configure resources, manage IAM/RBAC, backup, DR, and high availability, and work with automation (CloudFormation, Terraform, CI/CD) to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Engineering or IT Architecture.
• Experience administering Azure, AWS and Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10–15% as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OIC) to ensure reliability.
• Reduce vendor lock-in by implementing cross-cloud strategies and standard security practices.
• Implement backup, DR, and high availability for cloud-hosted apps.
• Define and enforce RBAC, IAM policies, and data-protection compliance.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and coordinate with teams.
• Maintain architecture documentation and enforce SOPs.
