Job summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technicians for EMBEDDED roles in Hawesville, KY. Relocation and sign-on bonuses are available for qualified applicants and benefits include medical/dental/vision and 401K.

You will set up/testing equipment, interpret results, and support quality inspections on critical infrastructure. Responsibilities include calibrating equipment, performing tests, and reporting findings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college recommended.
• Certified Level II RT, MT, PT, UTT, VT, PMI (CR & DR a plus) is preferred.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety regulations and testing criteria per specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test resultsPerform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Certified Level II RT, MT, PT, UTT, VT, PMI (CR & DR a plus)
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
