Job summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for Muliti-Cert API 510/570/653 to support our operation in Enver, Colorado. The role involves performing visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API and ASME standards.

The candidate will submit technically accurate reports, provide recommendations for repairs or alterations, and support welding/metallurgical issues. Travel may be required, and strict adherence to safe work practices is expected.

Qualifications

• Certification of API 510/570/653 is required.
• 6–8 years’ experience or 2+ years on site experience.
• CWI / NACE 2 / NACE 3 a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of API 510/570/653 and ASME standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment per API/ASME standards.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
• Provide engineering input on repairs, re-rate, replacement, or alterations for safe operation.
• Provide technical guidance on NDE techniques and procedures.
• Comply with safe work practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Job description

Acuren is currently recruiting for Muliti-Cert API 510/570/653 to suport our operation in enver, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• At the direction of client, perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
• Submit to client technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition
• Provide client with technical recommendations for the repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment, as required for safe operation within stated operating parameters for durations specified by client
• Provide technical input to client as required for welding and metallurgical issues
• Provide technical guidance, on a application of non-destructive examination techniques and procedures
• Fully comply with all Acuren and client safe work practices and actively participate in all site safety initiatives
• Willingness to travel if needed

• Certification Of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570/653 -REQUIRED
• 6 – 8 years’ experience or 2+ years on site experience
• Additional CWI /NACE 2/NACCER a plus

• Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers
• Local applicants preferred or those willing to relocate (relocation will be case by case depending on the caliber of the candidate)
