Job summary

Atlas MedStaff seeks a Surgical RN in Iron Mountain, MI for a 13-week contract. You’ll scrub in for general, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, podiatry and cardiology cases, supporting pre-surgery, PACU, and intraoperative tasks. Work across three operating suites with 8-hour shifts starting between 5:45 AM and 9:00 AM.

Expect weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotations to keep cases running smoothly in a fast-paced perioperative environment, emphasizing teamwork in the surgical suite.

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid for Michigan practice.
• Experience as OR scrub nurse in perioperative settings preferred.
• Familiarity with cases in general, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, podiatry and cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, assist and support pre-surgery, PACU and intraoperative phases across three operating suites.
• Maintain smooth workflow and efficient turnover between cases.
• Assist with intraoperative tasks and perioperative patient care as needed.
