The role focuses on monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis, AR/AP support, and inventory control, reporting to the Accounting Manager and collaborating with onsite teams. The position entails assisting in the preparation of financial reports, audits, month-end close, asset management, and timely tax

Qualifications

• Experience with monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Knowledge of AR/AP processes and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other reports.
• Audit documents to substantiate financial transactions.
• Maintain accounting controls by recommending policies and procedures.
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain Fixed Asset and CIP systems; perform asset inventory audits.
• Provide month-end tracking and accruals (Prepaids, OpEx, Payables, Freight, Utilities, etc.).
• Handle P&L and Balance Sheet monthly closing tasks, including journal entries and GR/IR review.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly; prepare and file sales/use tax returns.
• Assist with maintenance of W9 database.
