Job summary

Premier Aerospace Group NY LLC is seeking a seasoned CNC Machinist to operate and program Integrex multi-tasking equipment, blending milling and turning in single setups for aerospace components.

You will translate complex aerospace prints into efficient programs, maintain tight tolerances, and work with live-tooling lathe operations while driving quality and throughput improvements. This role rewards experienced multi-axis machining and offers strong benefits.

Qualifications

What you’ll do

• Operate and program CNC Integrex multi-tasking equipment to produce precision components.
• Execute live-tooling lathe operations and blend milling/turning in single-setup runs.
• Translate prints and written instructions into efficient programs and robust setups.
• Maintain tight aerospace tolerances while improving throughput and quality.

Required background

• Experience with Mazak Integrex or equivalent mill/turn platforms.
• Proficiency in G-code and Mazatrol.
• Demonstrated programming and setup from engineering drawings and procedures.
• Live-tooling CNC lathe operation.
• Blueprint literacy and strong organizational habits.
• Comfort machining diverse materials, including plastics.
• History of producing close-tolerance aerospace parts.

Preferred extras

• Independently handling complex setups.
• Tool selection, workholding design/selection, programming, and operation sequencing for new work.
• Advanced troubleshooting skill set.
• Experience running CMM programs and staging jobs for inspection.
• Programming experience with G-code, Mazatrol, or Mastercam.
• Multi-axis machining with complex offset management.
• 10+ years in tight-tolerance machining (aerospace preferred).
• Wide material and machine-type versatility.
• CNC machining training or certification.
