Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a content-focused professional to support the Global Multi Asset team in investment research, thought leadership, and portfolio initiatives in Chicago. The role blends asset allocation research with translating complex investment views into clear client-facing materials.

About 70% of the time will be on multi-asset research content and 30% on asset allocation and IPC support. The candidate should be analytically curious, highly organized, and able to translate research

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in financial services (Asset Management and/or Fund Administration preferred).
College or University degree required; Finance, Economics and/or Accounting experience required.

Responsibilities

Create content related to multi-asset research and investment capabilities (70%).
Asset Allocation investment research (30%).
Support portfolio management and product management initiatives.
Serve as a subject matter expert on creation of presentation decks and marketing collateral for thought leadership and research publications.
Collaborate with key partners to support the monthly Investment Policy Committee (IPC) meetings.
Facilitate discussions and implementation of IPC meetings.
Carries out research tasks to support the team's tactical asset allocation process.
