Job summary

Sonsoft, Inc. is seeking an experienced MuleSoft engineer to lead and design integration solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop Mule services in CI/CD and Agile processes, drive technology decisions for MuleSoft/eCommerce, and author design documents addressing business pain points. Applicants should have strong REST API development skills, exposure to OAuth/JWT/SSL, and hands-on coding with Java/Spring or Node.js.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of MuleSoft Anypoint API Platform experience.
• Translate requirements into Mule services within CI/CD and Agile processes.
• Make technology decisions for MuleSoft/eCommerce environments.
• Create MuleSoft design documents addressing integration pain points.
• Lead and groom distributed development teams.
• Create best practice documents on MuleSoft.
• Extensive experience design/develop RESTful APIs.
• Broad knowledge of API web standards (OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT).
• Extensive coding experience with Java/Spring or Node.js.
• Understand SOA vs API design; CM processes knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers across geographies.
• Interpret requirements to develop Mule services in CI/CD and Agile.
• Define technology decisions for MuleSoft/eCommerce integrations.
• Create design documents to address business integration pain points.

Job Description

• At least 1 year of experience with Mulesoft Anypoint API Platform
• Able to interpret requirements to develop Mule services/integrations in CI/CD and Agile process .
• Make technology decisions related to Mulesoft/eCommerce environment
• Create Design Document addressing business paint points around integration leveraging Mulesoft Anypoint API platform.
• Technically lead and groom a team of developers who might be geographically distributed.
• Create best practice documents on Mulesoft.
• Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Broad knowledge of web standards relating to APIs (OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT, etc.)
• Extensive coding experience with either Java/Spring or Node.js
• Understanding of differences between SOA and API design.
• Knowledge of Change & Incident Management process (CMRs, etc.)

Nice to Have Technical Skills

• Experience in Node.js
• Should be self-starting, requires little oversight and handles complex tasks
• Design and develop REST based APIs leveraging Java platform
• Experience working in a scrum team and in onsite/offshore model.
• Exposure to DevOps.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
