Job summary

Cognizant in the Boston area is seeking a MuleSoft Tech Lead to design, build, and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and AWS Kiro for utilities and outage management.

The role requires 10–13 years of enterprise integration experience, strong API lifecycle leadership, and security expertise. It offers a hybrid work arrangement with two days a week in a Cognizant/SF office and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10–13 years of enterprise integration experience.
• Hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform expertise.
• End-to-end API lifecycle management experience.
• Experience with AWS Kiro or similar tooling.
• Strong API/security knowledge and data protection.
• Utilities domain experience preferred.
• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of secure, scalable integrations using MuleSoft and AWS Kiro.
• Drive end-to-end API lifecycle from design to monitoring.
• Define reusable API-led integration patterns and security standards.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across MuleSoft and AWS components.
• Implement auth, encryption, logging, monitoring, and alerting controls.
• Optimize performance, availability, and incident response for outages.
• Collaborate with product owners and cloud teams to translate requirements.
• Maintain architecture documents and runbooks, mentor engineers.
