Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Addison, TX seeks a software engineer with 3–7 years of experience to work in an agile team. Primary skills: Mule ESB, OracleDB and Java; secondary: cloud computing and Core Java.

You will translate business requirements into technical specs with the development team. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, tracking stories in Jira, performing impact analysis, and supporting CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Jenkins and Artifactory.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in an agile team environment.
• Must have strong communication skills, oral and written.
• Must work independently with assigned tasks with minimal oversight.
• Client-facing work experience is a plus.
• Experience with Jira for tracking stories and reporting.
• Previous development / coder experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand business and/or system requirements and refine them into executable specifications with the development team.
• Work with stakeholders to capture needs and perform impact analysis.
• Collaborate on design/work sessions and facilitate reviews as needed.
• Support CI/CD activities and tooling (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory).
• Coordinate release activities and triage efforts with teams and clients.
