Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking a MuleSoft Architect/Designer to lead enterprise integration design for a nationwide federal transformation. You will turn complex requirements into scalable MuleSoft architectures, API designs, and production-ready solutions, working with clients and the delivery team.

The role combines hands-on delivery with technical leadership, including guiding CI/CD, maintaining APIs, and ensuring quality across SAP connections.

Qualifications

• Seven years of hands-on experience designing and implementing MuleSoft integrations.
• SAP integration experience.
• MuleSoft Architect Certification.
• Expertise in MuleSoft SaaS platform administration, integration architecture, and API design and development.
• Experience leading development teams and establishing engineering standards.
• Strong client-facing communication for technical discussions and design reviews.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience or Master’s with 6–8 years.

Responsibilities

• Own integration design translating business and connectivity requirements into MuleSoft architectures, API designs, and implementation specifications.
• Build and deliver enterprise integrations including connections to SAP systems.
• Guide the development team by establishing CI/CD automation, observability, error handling, documentation, and solution architecture.
• Drive technical quality through design walkthroughs and code reviews, resolving issues and coordinating decisions across project workstreams.
• Partner with clients to present designs, findings, and recommendations to technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Support reliable operations by administering the MuleSoft SaaS platform, production environments, and ongoing improvements.

As a MuleSoft Architect / Designer, you’ll turn complex business and connectivity requirements into scalable enterprise integrations. You’ll combine hands‑on delivery with technical leadership—designing APIs, guiding developers, and working directly with clients to move solutions from requirements through production readiness.

If you bring deep MuleSoft expertise, SAP integration experience, and the ability to explain architecture clearly, this role gives you an opportunity to shape both the solutions and the standards used to deliver them.

What you’ll do

• Own integration design: Translate business, technical, and connectivity requirements into MuleSoft architectures, API designs, and implementation specifications.

• Build and deliver: Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise integrations, including connections to SAP systems.

• Guide the development team: Establish consistent practices for CI/CD automation, observability, error handling, documentation, and solution architecture.

• Drive technical quality: Lead design walkthroughs and code reviews, resolve technical issues, and coordinate decisions across project workstreams.

• Partner with clients: Present designs, findings, and recommendations to technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Support reliable operations: Administer the MuleSoft SaaS platform, support production environments, recommend improvements, and contribute to testing, training, and operational readiness.

What you’ll bring

• 7 years of hands‑on experience designing and implementing scalable enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft.

• SAP integration experience.

• MuleSoft Architect Certification.

• Expertise in MuleSoft SaaS platform administration, integration architecture, and API design and development.

• Experience leading development teams and establishing engineering standards.

• Strong client‑facing communication skills, including experience facilitating technical discussions, design reviews, and cross‑team collaboration.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• A related bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 6–8 years of experience.

Preferred: SAP Concur integration experience.
