Forest Recruiting Group is seeking a MuleSoft Architect / Designer to deliver nationwide federal integrations for a travel and expense platform serving 124 government agencies. You will design APIs, guide developers, and coordinate with clients to move solutions from requirements through production readiness.

The role blends hands-on delivery with technical leadership, focusing on SAP integration, API design, and architecture governance.

Qualifications

• 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise integration with MuleSoft.
• SAP integration experience required.
• MuleSoft Architect Certification required.
• Strong expertise in MuleSoft SaaS platform administration, API design, and integration architecture.
• Experience leading development teams and establishing engineering standards.
• Excellent client-facing communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience, or Master’s with 6–8 years.

Responsibilities

• Own integration design by translating business and connectivity needs into MuleSoft architectures and API designs.
• Build and deliver enterprise integrations, including connections to SAP systems.
• Guide the development team by establishing CI/CD practices, observability, error handling, and documentation.
• Drive technical quality through design reviews, issue resolution, and cross-workstream decisions.
• Partner with clients to present designs, findings, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Support reliable operations by administering the MuleSoft SaaS platform and preparing for production readiness.
