Job summary

VOLTO Consulting in Irvine, CA seeks a Mulesoft Architect to lead API-led integration strategies and modern MuleSoft deployments. The role focuses on enterprise patterns, migration from legacy TIBCO, and ensuring secure, scalable services.

You will guide teams through complex architectural decisions, leverage CloudHub and API Manager, and collaborate across cloud platforms and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise API-led frameworks and reusable patterns.

• Guide development teams through architecture decisions.
• Demonstrate expertise in MuleSoft CloudHub and API Manager.
• Work with microservices, SOA, and pub/sub architectures.

Migration Strategy: Lead transitions from legacy TIBCO workflows (BW 5.x/6.x, EMS) into modern MuleSoft instances.

Governance & Security: Enforce development standards, CI/CD automation, and API security guidelines (OAuth, mTLS).

Technical Leadership: Direct development teams through architectural reviews and complex troubleshooting.

Technical Stack: Advanced knowledge of MuleSoft (CloudHub, API Manager) and TIBCO Suite (BusinessWorks, EMS).

Architectures: Microservices, SOA, and pub/sub messaging.

Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven).
