Job summary

New York Life is seeking a MuleSoft Developer to design, build, test, and deploy enterprise integrations and APIs using the Anypoint Platform. You will craft RAML contracts, implement secure API designs, and collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver scalable integrations across systems.

The role requires at least 3 years in software development with a minimum 1 year hands-on MuleSoft experience, strong API security knowledge, and experience with DataWeave.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• At least 1 year hands-on with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Strong API design skills including RAML.
• Experience in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environments.
• Solid understanding of API security and governance.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging and integration patterns.
• REST/SOAP services, JSON/XML/DataWeave.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain MuleSoft integrations and APIs.
• Build RAML specifications and enforce API-led connectivity.
• Implement secure API designs (OAuth 2.0, TLS/mTLS).
• Work with REST/SOAP, databases, SaaS, and legacy systems.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure quality/documentation.
