Capgemini seeks a seasoned MuleSoft Developer for a hybrid role in the US. You will design, build, and maintain APIs and integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including RAML design and DataWeave transformations, with Salesforce integrations as needed.

The role requires 5+ years of MuleSoft experience, RAML expertise, RESTful/SOAP services capability, and strong data transformation skills, working in an Agile environment.

Your Role

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Developer with strong expertise in designing, building, and implementing APIs and integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with API-led connectivity, RAML design, DataWeave transformations, Salesforce integrations, and enterprise-scale integration patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft APIs and integration applications.
• Create and manage RAML specifications using Design Center and related Anypoint Platform tools.
• Develop and implement API-led connectivity solutions using System, Process, and Experience APIs.
• Build and consume RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Develop complex data transformations using DataWeave.
• Design and implement integrations using MuleSoft connectors and reusable integration patterns.
• Configure and enforce API security and governance policies.
• Handle large-volume data processing, batch jobs, file transfers, and parallel processing requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute throughout the SDLC lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing MuleSoft APIs and applications.
• Strong expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Design Center, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange.
• Proficiency in developing RAML specifications, including security schemes, traits, and advanced RAML components.
• Hands-on experience implementing API-Led Connectivity Architecture (System, Process, and Experience layers).
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing DataWeave scripts and transformations.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Connectors and Salesforce integrations.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design principles.
• Experience handling large datasets, batch processing, file-based integrations, and parallel processing.
• Strong knowledge of MuleSoft connectors, integration patterns, and API lifecycle management.
• Experience configuring and managing API Policies and security controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Kafka-based Pub/Sub messaging architectures.
• Knowledge of event-driven integration patterns.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• MuleSoft certifications are highly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating enterprise applications such as Salesforce, ERP, CRM, or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and production support activities.
• Exposure to cloud-based integration deployments.

Experience

• 5+ Years of Hands-on MuleSoft Development Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $76,730 to $150,800

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
