Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking an Electrician to monitor, maintain, adjust, and repair electrical distribution systems for both emergency and normal power. The position requires knowledge of generators, ATS, MCC, drives, motors, and distribution panels.

The incumbent is on a rotating on-call schedule and is considered essential personnel in a disaster. Education: High School Degree or Equivalent; Work Experience: 3 years.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of related work experience preferred.

This role requires a working knowledge of all electrical systems including, but not limited to, Generators, ATS, MCC, Drives, Motors, Distribution Center, and Distribution Panels. The position is scheduled for call on a rotating basis to include being be on call for one week and work a scheduled weekend shift. Incumbent is Considered Essential Personnel in a disaster.
