Job summary

US Fitness Strike Studio in Washington, DC is seeking an energetic instructor to lead boxing, kickboxing and HIIT classes, build a client base, and help members hit personal records in a high-energy studio.

You will run movement checks, manage class records and support promotions. Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience teaching groups of 6+, CPR/AED, and strong communication and sales skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year instructing groups of 6+ people at varied levels.
• CPR/AED certification is required.
• Combat background is preferred – 5+ amateur fights or equivalent experience a plus.
• Martial arts ranking (purple belt) or similar skill is preferred.
• Friendly coach with strong communication, sales instincts and work ethic.
• Personal training/group fitness certifications are helpful.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

• Lead group classes (boxing, kickboxing, HIIT, technical conditioning) that are safe, challenging, and fun
• Run Smart Starts / movement checks and support members before/after class
• Build and maintain your training client base and support EP promotions/special events
• Keep class records, schedules, and studio tidy - replace equipment and report issues
• Track hours and follow payroll/substitution procedures; attend mandatory meetings and trainings
• Represent the club with professionalism and respond to member needs promptly

What we're looking for:
