Tennessee Oncology seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT) Level III in our HMS Pathology lab to process patient specimens and perform immunological, histology, molecular and FISH testing, ensuring accurate reporting.
The role requires Tennessee MT license and at least two years of clinical laboratory testing experience, with opportunity to train and supervise entry-level staff. Strong quality control and teamwork are essential.

Job Description: The Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT) Pathology Level III is responsible for the processing of various patient specimens received for immunological testing performed at TNONC HMS, including, but not limited to, all bone marrow/peripheral blood, fluids and or tissues for leukemia/lymphoma, fluid-based (serum, urine, etc.) immunological tests (i.e. SPEP, UPEP, s-IFE, u-IFE, serum free light chains, and/or immunoglobulins), histological, molecular and/or FISH processing and clinical chemistry testing including diagnostic clinical tests and immunoassays. This position is also responsible for all analysis and reporting for the various areas in the Pathology laboratory. Follows proper guidelines for safe handling of blood, body fluids and hazardous chemicals, properly recording lab testing, quality control and assurance, maintaining appropriate inventory levels of reagents and supplies. This position is a third level position in the HMS Pathology laboratory (and all ancillary locations) with the expectation to be proficient and competent with every aspect of testing and technical reporting in all areas of the laboratory.
