Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a Registered Nurse with experience across medical/ surgical, ICU, ER, psychiatric, labor & delivery, PACU, or OR to deliver skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice services. The role includes patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and discharge planning.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in acute hospital case management, an active RN license, strong communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital case management experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care including patient assessments and medication administration.

• Manage case load with a ratio of approximately 1:35 patients.
• Focus on discharge planning to ensure smooth patient transitions.
• Cover up to 2 units on weekends as scheduled.
• Participate in holiday coverage as required.

Special Considerations

• Weekend coverage required every other weekend.
• Must be available for holiday coverage.
• Return to Office (RTO) restrictions limit time in office to no more than 7 days.
• Work environment is an acute care facility.
• Scrub or business casual attire required.

Scheduling

• Work schedule includes weekend shifts every other weekend.
• Shift assignments may include coverage of up to 2 units on weekends.
• Holiday shifts as assigned.
