Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital's Westside Primary Care unit seeks a licensed social worker to provide developmentally appropriate, outcome-focused social work services to patients and families. The role requires an MSW, Ohio LSW, LISW preferred, and at least two years of clinical social work experience.

Qualifications

• MSW required.
• LSW licensure required; LISW preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team and provides Clinical Medical Social Work services to patients and their families to improve or maintain social, emotional, functional and physical health.
• Provides consultation, education, and training to staff regarding psychosocial issues that impact the delivery of optimal health care services.
• Participates in the development and delivery of education, research and continuous quality improvement.
