Job summary

Prominent Career Solutions, LLC currently seeks a Program Director to lead the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program in Irvine, CA. The role oversees both MSN-Ed and MSN-FNP tracks, shaping curriculum and ensuring accreditation readiness.

The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in nursing, an MSN with relevant specialization, and a California RN license. You will lead faculty, partnerships, and data-driven student success initiatives to advance graduate nursing education.

Qualifications

Doctorate in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
MSN with specialization in Nursing Education and/or Family NP.
Unencumbered California RN license (or eligible); FNP certification if applicable.
Minimum of three years of graduate-level nursing education experience.
Strong background in program administration, curriculum development, and academic leadership.
Working knowledge of CCNE and BRN accreditation standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
Compensation is commensurate with education and experience.

Responsibilities

Provide visionary leadership and day-to-day oversight of the MSN program (MSN-Ed and MSN-FNP tracks).
Direct curriculum design, evaluation, and improvement aligned with AACN Essentials and NONPF.
Ensure compliance with CCNE accreditation standards and BRN regulations; prepare self-studies, reports, site visits.
Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty across tracks; foster collaborative, student-centered culture.
Advance student success with data-informed admissions, progression, retention, and support strategies.
Establish and sustain clinical partnerships and practicum preceptor networks.
Lead program assessment and reporting on outcomes and effectiveness to drive improvement.
Teach graduate-level nursing courses as needed.
Model professionalism and scholarly excellence for faculty, staff, and students.
