Job summary

Orca Bio in Sacramento, CA is seeking an Engineer I, MSAT to improve the efficiency and safety of the drug product manufacturing process. The role includes life cycle management of commercial products, process monitoring, investigation of events, and supporting CAPAs under senior supervision.

The candidate should have a BS in Engineering or related field with 0-2 years of GMP experience and strong communication and problem-solving skills. On-site with potential overtime.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
0-2 years of experience with manufacturing processes and equipment in related fields.
Experience in regulated GMP manufacturing operations is required.

Responsibilities

Performs ongoing monitoring of existing commercial products and processes.
Generates metrics and reports for process monitoring and verification.
Supports process improvements and changes including electronic batch record creation and modifications.
Investigates process events and implements corrective and preventive actions.
Provides troubleshooting support for manufacturing events and equipment performance.
